Working together

From your first idea to the handover.

I show you drafts and explain what comes next. You bring your content and feedback. We agree the scope, price and dates in writing before work starts.

What we decide and when

Who does what?

  1. 01

    Scope

We record the goal, pages, language and excluded work.

Scope and price are agreed in writing before work starts.

  2. 02

    Content

You approve copy, images, rights and legal text. I point out what is still missing.

We agree how any missing content will be supplied.

  3. 03

    Design

I show you the page structure and an initial design. You give me your feedback.

We agree the design before I extend it across the remaining pages.

  4. 04

    Implementation

I put the agreed pages and functions in place and document any services they need.

You can check the agreed functions in the preview.

  5. 05

    Review

We check content, small-screen layouts, keyboard use and the enquiry path.

One consolidated revision round; you then confirm in writing that the website matches the agreed scope.

  6. 06

    Handover

After your confirmation and the agreed final payment, I publish the website and hand over the source files and guide.

Responsibilities, services and the 30 days of launch support are documented.

We agree an estimated start and completion date for your project. Timing depends on scope, available materials and feedback.

After launch

What you receive at handover

You receive your source files, the agreed access and a short guide. We record the arrangements for publication, hosting and future care in writing.

Are domain, hosting and ongoing fees included?

The website price covers creating the site. Domain, hosting, paid platforms and other third-party services are listed separately. I purchase or activate paid services only after your approval. Your domain and hosting should be in your name and under your control; we agree the specific setup beforehand.

What do I receive at handover?

You receive your website’s source files, the agreed access and a short handover guide. Usage rights, third-party licences and the specific hosting or transfer arrangement are recorded in the project scope. Platform features and accounts cannot always be transferred automatically.

Can I edit the content myself later?

Self-editing features or a content management system are not currently part of the offer. You can request changes from me, and I will quote the price beforehand. A self-editing option may be developed in future if there is demand.

What support is included after launch?

After launch, 30 days of support are included: help with technical issues caused by my implementation and brief handover questions. New content, additional features and ongoing maintenance are outside this support. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

How are later updates handled?

You can request new content, changes or additions individually. Scope and price are agreed before work starts. I do not currently offer a maintenance subscription. Any recurring fees from your hosting or third-party providers remain separate.

View a sample handover checklist

Illustrative sample. It contains no real customer records, accounts or access.

  1. Domain and hosting: record the account owner, renewal date and payment responsibility together.
  2. Source and assets: document the delivered version, image rights and third-party licences.
  3. Content: list pages, copy, images and the person responsible for changes.
  4. Operation: explain service dependencies, contact routes and agreed launch support.
  5. Backup: document and check export and restore steps suited to the agreed hosting arrangement.
  6. Future work: retain the source files and guide so another provider can assess taking over. Platforms and licences may restrict transfers.

Access permissions are granted only through the relevant providers. This preview grants no permissions and stores nothing.
